Mehmet Korkmaz is an emerging talent in the world of haute couture, gaining recognition in Turkey and the Middle East for his exceptional designs. His passion for fashion started at a young age and led him to pursue formal training in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing at LaSalle College in Canada. During this time, he gained valuable experience by working on theatrical costumes and capsule trial collections.
Korkmaz expanded his expertise in haute couture while providing collection consultancy for a wedding garment company in Copenhagen, Denmark, and working with textile export companies. His dedication to the craft culminated in the founding of his own brand in 2011, making him one of the youngest designers in the haute couture field. He debuted his first haute couture collection, “White Line,” at a special event organized by the Foundation of Clothing Manufacturers’ Association. This success was followed by another striking collection titled “Vie,” which means “life” in French.
Due to the growing interest in his work, Korkmaz opened his first workshop for special customers in 2013. Rather than following trends, he focused on creating them, developing his unique cuts and quickly securing a loyal customer base. His “ready-to-wear” collection, designed for women who seek elegance even in their daily lives, features 28 pieces that blend accessibility with luxury.
Today, Mehmet Korkmaz‘s brand is showcased in prestigious locations like GiziaGate in Turkey and is also available in several Middle Eastern countries, including Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait, and Baku. As both a haute couture and garment brand designer, Korkmaz continues to make his mark in the fashion industry with his innovative and luxurious designs.
